Let's talk about the new Game of Thrones trailer

This full-length trailer for everyone's favorite epic fantasy series is here, and it is seriously fantastic.

There are a host of things to get excited about here, but my favorite is, of course, Daenerys Targaryen vowing to raze cities with the power of her dragons. I am ready for the rise of badass Daenerys (it seems wrong to call the woman "Dany" when she's showing such blatant bloodlust). And those baby dragons are the cutest killing machines since the direwolves.

A close second in the favorite-moment contest was Tyrion's unassailable observation, that "the King is a lost cause." I love Tyrion, I hate Joffrey and his smug face, and I can't wait for their inevitable clash. Let's hope it looks something like this:

The trailer was composed mostly of intriguing glimpses, but there were more substantial tidbits as well. We got our first look at some new characters, including Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) and Melisandre (Carice van Houten). We saw Arya, dressed as a boy and holding her sword, looking almost as badass as Daenerys. We saw Cersei continuing to lose her grip on Joffrey and the Iron Throne. And we saw Jon Snow, bloody, shocked and fearful in the face of what I have to assume is a White Walker.

Can it please be April already?
